About Me

I am an UNL student from Omaha, Nebraska. I originally was a pre-vet major on the biology track but switched majors because I didn’t feel it was right for me anymore. I work at a dog park named Paws4Fun, and I adopted a Maine Coon to be my emotional support animal while I’m in college. I went to Burke High School (if you know about Burke, I’m sorry). I danced for 15 years and became a national high school winner, placing 9th in my senior year. I am currently an ADPR major with a minor in Art to specialize in photography, as I have always loved doing it and could turn that passion into a small side career. I came to Lincoln because it was close to home but far enough away to experience a change of scenery.

career Goals

My career goals are very up in the air. I would like to work as an Advertising account executive. I would like to do this as it would allow me to let my creativity flow while also sitting on the public relations side and discussing ideas back and forth with the clients and the marketing staff. That is not my full career goal, though; I would also like to have a side job of taking professional photos, editing them, and sending them to people. I think it would allow me to enjoy what I do and give me something that I have found soothing and enjoyable. Eventually, my plan will also be to return to college to have a second chance at my original dream, which is to become a veterinarian orthopedic Surgeon.
